  • i shall let you all know tomorrow. don't feel as stupid knowing it's not just me lol

just to be nosey, i'm quite a newbie (got 10 shops under my belt) is everyone else making millions lol

p.s. there were no eggs at my egg shop lol might call to explain that one

Millions? Cor, I wish! I have a full time job as well as my mystery shopping work and can't retire just yet, unfortunately!
  • well, i've always done cashback sites but have now stretched to shopping and surveys. At 23 it's hit me that if i wanna move out, i best make some more money. Have a full time job as well. at least i'm working for my money.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

ok, i'm going to moan. How depressing are the Gapbuster questionnaires! I completed the chicken one, then went to the burger one but didn't manage to complete that (i have one more try before being banished lol)

I'm with ESA, GFK and Grassroots already and their nowhere near as strict. Are others like this?

Just to let you know that we're not allowed to mention the shop names in postings as it's client confidentiality. You have to give them criptic names as above. You can go back and edit your post.

As you're new we'll let you off with the punishment ritual though...... ;):D
Here I go again on my own....
  • thanks for that, never thought. has been changed

Company is ESA. And everyone my mistake I thought MSR was completing an assignment questionnaire. My brain must be worn out too.

  • i'm off to bed. have managed to sign up to 4 shopping sites and done 10 surveys today as well as ebay listing and working over (my bed is actually waving to me to get in)

I often look at the thread but find it tricky to understand as i'm not sure what people are talking about most of the time, i assume it makes a lot more sense if you follow it everyday

Most of us make it up as we go along anyway, the trick is to only read every second post.
Just joking, welcome to the thread and good luck with MSing.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

ESA seem to have hundreds of egg jobs left over.Although a few of them seem to be new ones with last weekends cut off.

Has anyone applied for any since the weekend ? - im keen to do some more now the pain has worn off.

(down to last 7 boxes of eggs as well)

I applied for quite a few with the new cut off date but guess what...... I didn't get any even though they still show in opps available:confused:

Guess i did too many last week,

Rosy I have a 12 car circuit due Thurs/Fri/Sat. Was last week but postponed due to the weather. But it is in Edinburgh so means being away 2 days morning till night as Edinburgh is 45 miles away to start with. I am swithering. The task doesn't fill me with joy and there is a lot of research to do.

2 days of car speak !

I don't do too much research. I look up the models on the car dealer’s site and use their build a car options - some of it's a bit techy so I glaze over. I then go on whatcar.com as that has lowest price (they regularly send out Mystery shoppers to establish their target prices). I find reading the reviews etc can help to sum up a sentence or two to use on the visit. I don't spend ages researching. Just focus on what you would genuinely like in a car and pick a couple aspects that has made the car be the one for you - I have to get Mother's wheelchair in and out of my transport as well as grandchildren on occasions so access is always priority for me- lots to waffle on about safety etc. But I can go on.......which is probably why the salesperson gets beaten down quickly into giving me a price!

In a nutshell - just be yourself, talk about what you like in a car even if it's just the colour or triangular exhaust! Should be easier for a canny Scot to haggle down to a minimum price! Not like us soft southerners!;)

p.s What the heck is 'swithering'? I can make a guess but not so sure I am right? St. Swithin has something to do with rain for 40 days so my mind conjures up incontinence for best part of 2 months! :rotfl:
