Initial letter was dated 11/12/09 as you may have seen.
The 2nd letter dated 22/01/10 saying, "With reference to the above we note that we have not received payment of £305.43 as per our letter of the 11th December 2009 (copy enclosed).
We trust this is an oversight on your behalf and look forward to your remittance by return."
Nothing since then, esmerellda.

Robertson holbrook have had their licence removed by the MOJ and have, I believe, been struck off for the second time at companies house. With RH you havent paid an upfront fee so I think you will have to take this over yourself.
What is the claim ? (credit card charges/bank charges/ppi etc) and what stage is it at that you know of ?
Do you have any copies of documentation yourself ?
You'll need to inform the bank not to deal with RH or anyone from it - as you will have given RH authority to act on your behalf.
We have, as you will have read, had some cases where banks/lenders have settled the claims directly to RH and RH have neglected to pass the settlement on. So you'll need to check with the lenders what stage your claim is at and then go from there.LegalBeagles0 -
Oh eck, well its for bank charges against Yorkshire Bank, they were at last i heard attempting to get the claim processed on hardship grounds but i never had anything at all in writing from them so i dont really know. They jsut kept telling me that they didn't use the normal rules to get charges returned so it was being prepared for court. I'm really stressed at the thought of proceeding myself or even if i have any grounds to proceed on :S0

Hi Big Budgie/ Esmerelda,
I haven't had any advice/ replies on my issue since this last message quoted above- Sorry due to difficult pregnancy, I haven't been able to chase it up with you earlier than today.
I have today (my husband actually, as this is his matter that I am dealing with) recieved another letter from RH dated 19th Aug titled NOTICE OF INTENDED ACTION as there is an outstanding balance of £305.43. The last bit in the letter says ...'Should you wish to discuss the situation, telephone the writer on his direct no.....' (mobile no.)Russell F White.
Could you suggest the next course of action please?

Hi Bill
Seen the post on LB so will reply there.
Lexina - probably no basis for your claim - I would send Yorkshire Bank a letter rescinding authority for RH to act on your behalf. Just in case. You could also try ringing ''Russell White'' on the number Bill has got for them.LegalBeagles0
