Okay forget it, it's not going to happen, we'll write the particulars of claim ready to enter to court on the 8th day after they received the LBA's you sent. They probably won't respond and you can get default judgment and send the bailiffs round to pay them a visit.

It will cost you up front but you should add all the costs into the claim. Will draft something up now so you can be getting your individual info sorted over weekend and Budgie can check it over early next week before submitting to court.

You have two options, moneyclaimonline - entering the claim online through the northampton bulk centre, or via the formal N1 form - which you can print off from online or collect from your local court. Both cost the same to submit and that depends on how much your claim is. If you look on the www.hmcs.gov.uk site it will tell you about court fees and you can download the N1 form from there too. If you are struggling financially you should also take a look at the EX160 form which is for fee remission.

Do you have any idea how much it will cost (approx) to take this to court?
I've looked at the website but it just says it depends on the amount you are claiming?

I have no idea if it's going to be 10's or hundreds?

    Hi Gills,
I got through about half an hour ago and asked to speak to Paul. He was on the phone so they said he would ring me back. Sure enough I got a phone call 5 mins later from Tim claiming to be Paul! There's no chance that wasn't Tim, I've spoken to him enough times to recognise his voice, plus Tim likes to talk over the top of you, which he did.
Anyway Paul/Tim said j would get my money today or tomorrow, definately.

Bull **** if you ask me.

Why don't you try again and see if you get the same?

  • Managed to get through! Neither Tim nor Paul in office - surprise surprise! Russell asked me to leave message for them to call back. And so the wait continues!!!

    Haha! It's laughable really.

When I called and asked to speak to Paul and he said he's on the phone I asked if he was in the office all day and they said yes. It was 13.05 he called me back.

    I would keep trying.
