Plus, the extra 5% that some are entitled to come July is now worth just over 15p/share..
bugbod: I know this is obvious but can I suggest you call Computershare and find out whats going on with your holding - because if you want/need the money and the share price goes down - it will be you losing, not them. (I can always recommend Selftrade who will have lower commission charges anyway + the referral bonus:))

gt94sss2, I phoned this morning, they couldn't tell me and said to check again after 4.00pm. I did and they were showing at £3.00. I will phone again tomorrow.
I have also found out that my bank will do a good deal, but it will take time to transfer them0 -

Mine are sold. I got the letter this morning, BUT still showing on the website as a holding. They couldn't tell me that on the phone yesterday, either.
They may show until they get the transfer form back, though.0 -

Most share deals are settled on a T+3 basis - i.e. they send you the money 3 working days after you sell the shares.
The opening times of the London stockmarket over Christmas are:
Friday 22 December 2006 Markets close at 12.30
Monday 25 December 2006 Closed all day
Tuesday 26 December 2006 Closed all day
Wednesday 27 December 2006 Normal business day
Thursday 28 December 2006 Normal business day
Friday 29 December 2006 Markets close at 12.30
Monday 1 January 2007 Closed all day
Tuesday 2 January 2007 Normal business day
However, if you have already sold on Monday, your money should be 'released' today - but if you are expecting a cheque it might be delayed in the post until after boxing day..

I also sold on Monday. I got the Crest transfer on Tuesday and sent it back the same day. In the letter it said that I would be paid by Jan 3rd.0
