Just as a matter of passing interest, the share price went over £3 for a little while today - I guess the traditional xmas/New Year rally is in full swing...

    (Opps - hadn't spotted GG's edit)

Hopefully mine will have been sold during the day on a limit order with Computershare. :j

+£500 on the launch price and a tidy little bunce for Chrissie to make up [partly at least] for the poor performance by my SL endowment which earned me them in the first place.

Farewell to the little SL hidaway on MSE

and thanks to all the knowledgeable posters hereabouts!:kisses3:

    Hi bugbod,
Been there, seen it - just shows my "holding" at the sell price rather than the current closing price - so I assume they're sold.

The print out from placing the order says a contract note will be posted x 1st class post no later than the next business day after the sale and a cheque sent out 3 working days after the date of the sale.

Why, when they have your bank details, they need to send a cheque is a little beyond me but hopefully it will be here before Friday 23rd.
  • Well done guys. A very satisfactory result in under six months :).

I'm also feeling quite pleased as, on a whim, I bought back those 2000 shares I sold @ 292p for 282p :). So I'm back to 5,000 total.

Mine are at the closing price :(
  • Did you have a limit order set at £2.99 or at £3.00?

May be a blessing in disguise.

    :)

I'm not familiar with Computershare's share dealing service. Does the fact that you now have a share certificate now make a difference or have you transferred the shares to another stockbroker and placed a limit order with them?

Think good decision ---- I still think they way underpriced --- and have a way to go yet :D Would guess lots of original share holders have retained them and will do for quite a while yet :D
