Thursday's volume at mid-day suggests the declining trend is continuing. But maybe everyone's just waiting for their certificates .

When will SL join the FTSE 100 ?? Don't they review the FTSE 100 every so often and firms gain and loose there place in the FTSE 100.

September 7th as I understand it Cheggers.

But you can expect the trackers/funds to be buying up SL in the run up to their entry - so don't expect a big jump in price just after.

Thanks for that ReportInvestor. I will just have to wait until they write to me, as for being a carpetbagger, just a fluke really its a personal pension scheme with the company I work with, it should have been moved from L&G over two years ago but got lost/forgotten! So I lost out in even more shares!!!! Not that bothered really about not being able to sell, its a long term investment (pension-very long).

I sent an email to Sl and they quickly replied with confirmation of my share issue and the fact that everything will be posted to me on 17th July.(864 shares allocated and a further 915 purchased)

When roughtly do we get our cheques for people who chose to sell?

Monday or Tuesday.

Standard said they should have been posted by Sunday. Reputable companies posting cheques use First Class post.
