My certificate and cheque also just arrived. Good to see the Standard share price holding up at 241p in early trading on the day that some small shareholders may choose to sell.

Morgan Stanley rates them as "underweight" because of risk factors, but has still set a useful target price of 262p.
For me, the biggest risk factor in the next week lies beyond Standard Life itself - the Middle East situation.0 -

Anyone found a better one?

Mr K and I also asked for certificates and have been trapped into Computershare. I tried 01422 380880 but waited while they told me how much they valued my call, but had a high volume of calls (hardly surprising!) for nearly an hour before giving up.
Might try Head Office number later - unless anyone has any better ideas ....0 -

What a shame it didn't happen in 2000, when we could have been contemplating a family fortnight in Mauritius, rather than a long week-end in Blackpool.0 -

Me too.
We know nothing about shares so should we hang on for a year or sell. If selling, now or wait a bit. I don't understand how all this floatation malarkey works. Will prices go up or down when people like me who forgot to respond sell?
