smokie water - your website, although very nice - has absolutely nothing to do with my jam and chutney. I am selling jam and chutney because a large amount of fresh fruit was availiable to me. Due to my location I am able to make chutneys and jams from produce I aquire from the properties. I am very lucky to be able to use apples from Rowallane and apples, backberries and elderberries from Castleward. I will apologise for not updating my posts on here to say I am no longer doin the cupcakes and dog biscuits, however I was unaware I needed to, and didnt think to. I run a tearoom, in which I sell all of the above and more. The recent supply of fresh produce had prompted me to change my wares to something I currently have alot of.
I also agree that a good variety of stalls in paramount - but as I have no involvement in any organisation, this does not regard me.0 -
Afternoon ladies! Is everybody all set for the weekend?0

Woohoo! I can finally get back on here! I've been trying for months to get logged back in, even tried re-setting my password and it wasn't working. Just checked the forum and my pc has logged me in automatically, really weird, but at least I can post again!
Hope you are all busy getting ready for fairs, I'm going to a few but with having to bring my 4 month old with me it's a little awkward so I'm not doing as many as I'd have liked.
Is anyone going to the Big into Baby show this weekend, even as a visitor? I'm looking forward to going as a visitor this year instead of an exhibitor, hopefully there will be lots of freebies from the big companies

You certainly have not offended me, but selling pottery, dog biscuits and cupcakes, is entirely different from selling pottery and jam, you should have been up front from the start. If you have decided to extend your range after viewing my website, well I am flattered, however crafters are involved with expressing their creativity and not simply copying others.
How rude an assumption is that!0 -
Hi folks! There is a fair in St Mark's Church in Newtownards (the one at the bottom of Willam Street/Regent Street). Tables are £20 and it is 11 until 3 (i think). Unfortunately I don't have contact details but I was passing and called in and was able to pick up a form - oh, it's on 20th November!
Hope this helps sorry for not being more useful in knowing contacts! Went last year for a browse and even late on it seemed quite well attended...stalls were in the room where they serve teas, so think that and the fact you can park there maybe helped, LOL!0 -
Debs so good to see you back again. Missing all the friendly chatter, everything seems to have got to serious here now, so I don't go on to much. Seen your wee ad in the Primary Times, well done. I think you are at my fair in November, not sure.Jesus is alive!!!0

Hello, haven't noticed u post on this board b4 but u choose 2 criticise! Fair enough but did u read all the previous??? It is getting more and more difficult to get spots at fairs who limit number of each craft type so on a board where we let others know of dates (and smokie has listed plenty) it is only decent to let folk know when ur competing with them! I make jewellery and its down 2 people takin dates an not addin any of their own that has made me withdraw a bit from this pageLife's a box of beads - rainbow coloured and full of surprises!:D0
