Hello, haven't noticed u post on this board b4 but u choose 2 criticise! Fair enough but did u read all the previous??? It is getting more and more difficult to get spots at fairs who limit number of each craft type so on a board where we let others know of dates (and smokie has listed plenty) it is only decent to let folk know when ur competing with them! I make jewellery and its down 2 people takin dates an not addin any of their own that has made me withdraw a bit from this page
I have to agree with Rach!!
Sometimes you need to read back the posts!
A lot of the old crowd have moved onto a private group, set up by myself.....because we have had people have a pop at us/pm really nasty stuff/copy stuff.......and even go as far as phoning fair organisers and say that they shouldnt take us in, but they have a mate who can do it better!! Its a tough world and this forum was started as a resource....not a battering/belittleing or indeed a copying ground!! The craic on this forum was brilliant...we had so many laughs.... its a pity it got so (as Harleygirl said) serious
I rarely post on here now....and I know a few who decided to stick with it, but now are left feeling the same way we did not so long ago!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -

Hello Dragonfly, Glenlolas fair was excellent, enjoyed it very much, especially the tea and scones, yummy!
What were you selling? And Lotsoflovelybags are you my little blond friend from Bangor?
I was at the top corner with my pottery & jam beside my Mum with her cushions, she was annoyed at first with the lack of disabled access, but a good days sales is enough to put a smile on anyones face!
Great event, thanks!:TDJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
Hi everyone! Been a busy few days round here, so haven't been able to log on for a bit. Sounds like everyone had a good weekend! We did a charity event with Pretty 'n' Pink at the Tower Centre in Ballymena, and it was great! Made loads of money for the charity, and had really good response to my new jewellery line. Sold loads! Getting numbers finalised for Larne Craft Fair on 6th November. If anyone fancies a table, just let me know. No probs with 2 people splitting a table either. Hope everyone is well!0
