Just wanting to hear how the food fair at Mount Stewart went yesterday. I was going to go for a visit and couln't make it in the end. I love going to fairs and was looking forward to seeing some foodies to give me ideas for Chirtmas pressies. Would you have a list of all the exhibitors?
Martina
Hi Martina
Don't have a list of the exhibitors, but off the top of my head, Wendy from Windrush Cuisine was there, as was Lilian, Curry Sauce, there was a chocolate guy selling gorgeous Belgian Choccie (can never remember his name but the choccies good), A girl selling Cupcakes, Michael & Paul at the Organic Herb Co where there, Aunt Eleanors Fudge, and the rest were mostly food to go - oh and ofcource me! www.bakedinbelfast.com !!! I am always happy to help people out with their Christmas Shopping (as are most of the folks on here)!!!!!
I am sure I have forgotten afew and some of the others on here might be able to add some names in!
What fairs are you doing before Christmas?:xmastree:DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -

Home made Candles - I too am doing Glenlola at the weekend - see you there, think Sheedee is there as well.
Glassact - shows that don't work for some people are great for others, so don't let neg comments about last year put you off Castleward it could well be BRILLIANT for you! Last year the weather wasn't great, so fingers crossed for another good weekend to bring the punters out!
Has any one else found some show organizers to be really tightening up on things? i have done Banbridge for years and was telephoned yesterday looking for my Environmental Health Reg plus my Hygiene training, have sent these through to them, but it is the first time they have asked for these - I have also had afew visits from Env Health Officers at shows were I would not normally see them, and my Mum had a visit from Trading Standards at one recent show!! The moral of this tale is - make sure you are legit!!!:snow_grinDJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
