  • Lenalouise - thanks for the info, a friend said she got the form yesterday and it was £20 - they were to phone me back if they re-thought the price but haven't yet, might give them a call.

Laura - had hoped to get the crimbo cakes ready to display at the weekend, but so many birthday cakes to go out that I don't know if it will happen today! I will be posting them on the website next week and do lots of different sizes - all totally pretty!

Will hopefully see some of you at Mountstewart if the weather brightens up - I will be in a bright orange gazebo at the front of the house!

Hello Peeps! :wave:I'm having a weekend off and were planning to go off to north coast in the camper but hubby just started a new job (after year unemployed - Hooray!) and may have to work Saturday!! If at home should really spend time making up load more stock for all the fairs coming up between now and Christmas - keep meaning to do up some beaded baubles but they take so bloomin long keep putting it off!!! Can anyone tell me the time for the Bangor fair on Nov 6th? I'm booked in but just got a letter saying that morning is familiarisation day for my son at Wallace where he's sitting his AQE the following week so now I'm trying to work out how to be in two places at once...!

Cecila Ahern wrote a book about being in 2 places at once - maybe you could give her a ring.....

Does your stuff take up much room in the car - I am doing Bangor - if I ask her nicely my daughter would probably set up the table and mind it for you till you arrived (then you would have to set it all up again to suit yourself!!!!!)

The trendy crimbo icons are found by hitting 'more' below the ordingary icons!:rudolf::xmassmile:xmassign::xmastree::snow_grin:santa2::snow_laug and I just love em!

  • Total agreement with Glassact (she is a class act) - Newbies CHAT CHAT CHAT CHAT CHAT!

I will remain positive and live in hope that once we meet some of the newbies they will chat more.

I have just baked a huge batch of Christmas cakes, my arms are aching from all that stirring:xmastree:
Hi All, this is my first visit to the forum and I think it is fab. I need some help and maybe you could assist. I am organizing a craft fair in Newtownards on 20 Nov. and I want to know how to I put it on the list of craft fairs.

    Thank you
    The handbag lady:j
  • Hi Handbag lady
If you put the date, venue, time and cost for a table on as a post and ask someone to add it on to the list for you.

    Welcome- this place is great!!!

    Apparently it's a fabulous hall.

Yeh: we used to go to the Mums N Tots here and its a huge hall: they often have tables set up in the entrance hall to the church, a smaller hall, of course the massive sports hall and the small room off it!

Great news on the job front for your hubby. :j:j:j
Elim Fair on 6th is from 10am to 4pm. We could help you - man your stall - if you need us.
Hope your son and you aren't stressing too much about his AQE tests. What a hard time for you all. Don't envy you, had to go through selection tests with 3 daughters and it put years on me!!
Sounds as though the 6th is going to be a good day to catch up
with everybody - can't wait especially as my other partner in crime (the She part of SheDee - I'm the Dee - darker haired -part) will be back from her holidays. :T:T:T

heya everyone! glad the chit chat is comming back- I'm trying to keep posting but cant post when im on my phone :(

Everyone sounds like santas little helpers getting their crafts ready for all theses fairs! I can't wait!! Im so excited I've now got my own range of handmade soaps and truffles so hopfully these will be ready for next weekend at Glenola! :D

I would def not recomend Bangor Abbey, I done it last year and it was awful (everyone agreed) we just about made my £20 back! Good thing was we met shee-dee and michelle! :) was all ladies from the church who were just comming down for a cuppa and chat!

I did a ladies night is Strean and it was really good, so will def add that to my list!

Whats everyone up to this weekend? :)
