    Hi all!
I am new here, and this is my first post so just looking for a little bit of advice - sorry if this has been posted before!
My partner and I are attending our first craft/food fayre in the middle of this month. He is a potter and has lots of lovely hand crafted goods - and I run a tearoom so am bringing a selection of goodies - mini cupcakes for the little ones, halloween sugar cookies etc.
I would love to know if any one has any advice - how to pull in the punters! What would draw you to a particular stall etc..
    Many thanks in advance!
    Laura

Many thanks to Glassact for the redirection! The fair is castlewards pumpkinfest!
    hi there laurabelle

i am also doing the pumkinfest with my handmade glass jewellery.
i have only been doing fairs for about 9 months now so the only advice i can give you is make your stand as attractive as possible...a nice tablecloth (plain) as your cupcakes will speak for themsleves. have you got some nice old china perhaps and cake stands. the vintage style is all the rage now. some colourful signage perhaps and perhaps some bunting. have things at different levels too so that it takes your eye up the table. have some cup cakes cut up so people can taste them first perhaps. i will look out for you and introduce myself. good luck, i hope this helps!!!:)
ive got the craft bug, watch out its catching!!!;)

    Hello again,
Hopefully the stall will be mainly Matts pottery - so I really need to think about how to display the cupcakes etc - without taking away from either product! It may not of been a well informed decision to have both on the one stall :rotfl:
How do you create layers on your table? wood and bricks sort of thing??
We have some good banners so hopefully they will catch peoples eye.
Our stall is outside so not sure how that will work out  or where we will be situated!
We are heading down to scout it out Friday - as I think most of the stall holders arrive Saturday morning!
If you dont mind me asking - what price ranges do you find sell best on the stall?

Thank you to this nice person who moved my post! (sorry cant remember who you are apart from name possibly starting with an A :o)

have you got a cover incase of rain?im in main marquee so dont need to worry.not sure on pricing for cupcakes sorry. If you have both things on stall can you not use your partners pottery(plates if available) to display your cupcakes etc? Otherwise i would just keep all your items to one side of pottery and just keep it simple.
