Hey Glassact, keep on posting - I am still chatting! But have been a bit reluctant to share too many dates here because of the previous problems and the reasons Rach outlined.

Totally agree, everyone should stop looking and get posting!

Here's another date anyway - Thursday 5th November, Sixmilecross Primary School, evening fair, phone the school for details. We did it last year and it was OK, lots of space, but spread out among the hall and classrooms.:xmassmile

Sixmilecross is in the back end of beyond - I seemed to drive forever to get there, but there were plenty of people at the event. It was a really bad night weatherwise and we just didn't really enjoy this one, that is why we decided to give it a miss this year.

How did you all get on at Galgorm last night?

galgorm was good for me, there were plenty of people there, the problem was that there were a lot of "talks/demonstrations" so when they were on ppl were sitting listening/watching and were not up lookin or buying so the talks really affected our sales

but i still did ok and was happy with my sales
  • We had a good night at the Birthday Party in the shop - thought don't know how teachers cope with that amount of 8 year olds on a daily basis!

Put a photo of the birthday girl on the facebook page for the shop - with her parents consent of course, the cake was nearly bigger than she was!
