Oh thanks Glassact! Its good to be back :-) Youve all been very busy - I seem to have missed a lot! We did a lot of fairs earlier this year, but with very mixed success and it really got us down. Several we didnt even cover our table and fuel costs, and so we decided to stop over the summer and draw breath. But we are back and booking christmas fairs now, so its good to catch up. Hows it been going with you?
ive only done about 5 fairs this year and like you didnt do much over summer but am looking forward to the lead up to xmas. hopefully there will be more people looking for gifts and spending their hard earned money!we can only live in hope!!!:)
ive got the craft bug, watch out its catching!!!;)

  • Thank you for all the work put into this thread. It is a great source of info!

I rang Stephen tonight about the Ballynahinch Craft Fair in November. So the money is going to a charity he and his wife run called 'Cows to Kenya'. Expected footfall is around 300 to 400...although that doesn't give a great indication of £'s! There are still a few tables left.

This will be my first craft fair so I am well excited. If anybody has any tips and advice, I'm all ears (not literally!).

    Thanks again!
  • Hi there Ruth

Im going to Ballynahinch and Ive only started since July so still wet behind the ears! What product do you sell?

  • When is Ballinahinch? I am probably blind but don't see it on the list.

There used to be one in the leisure centre, but I thought it was a lady called Joan ran it.
