  • Just a quick note - be wary of "footfall expected" - that doesnt translate to "£'s expected to be spent" sadly!!
Im knitty, Im nutty, but I dont know anyone called Nora. :p
  • Does anyone have a contact for Glenlola Collegiate? (16th October)

  • Smokiewater - do you have hens??!!! I am on the verge of becoming a happy clucker keeper....

Oh yes, 5 hens and a happy boy duck! 3 of the hens still just chicks, we lost afew to the nasty fox at the start of the summer.

Hens are great though, would recommend them to anyone!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!

I downloaded the form from their website www.glenlola.net - but the girl who invited me was selling fair trade goodies, though she dosent strike me as the type who would object to another seller.

Some shows have asked me to bring just the pottery, or just the jam - I am always wary of these and try to sneak in a bit of both, but you could always offer to only bring your handmade stuff.:rotfl:

    hi there

i was at ballance house in july and i must admit there were only about 5/6 craft stalls - a couple didnt turn up. Numbers were not that great but maybe at xmas they will have a bigger crowd. Didnt see it advertisied anywhere at the time.however thats the way things are with the craft business
...some better attended and advertised than others.dont know if this helps?
ive got the craft bug, watch out its catching!!!;)

  • Oh thanks Glassact! Its good to be back :-) Youve all been very busy - I seem to have missed a lot! We did a lot of fairs earlier this year, but with very mixed success and it really got us down. Several we didnt even cover our table and fuel costs, and so we decided to stop over the summer and draw breath. But we are back and booking christmas fairs now, so its good to catch up. Hows it been going with you?
