hi koolz...i sell silver jewellery which i do not make myself - i buy it on wholesale, the organisers of each will usually state wether they want HAND CRAFTED ONLY items or not, i apply and state what i sell, if they want handmade items only they will let me know! hope this helps :-)

    how was babies+beyond?

Many thanks too Fi99..... Babies&Beyond was very good (for us anyway?)... a steady flow of peeps all day!
It was our 1st show and very much a learning curve to boot! But for the effort in got lots out... so we gonna do more!
*Sure was sore on the feet - and throat though!!!*;)
  • I will have a wee look at Dunelm Mills - thanks for that M! I do like the idea of innovative ideas for displays - it does help you stand out!

I forgot to ask about the size of the tables...does anyone have an approx idea of size?

    Thank you :)

Tables are usually 6x2 but it is always best to check especially at Schools - I tend to keep a couple of tables in the van, just incase!

Nothing worse than arriving at a school craft fair, to find the tables so low that you wold nearly need to be on your knees to see anything!

Another invaluable piece of kit I tend to keep with me is a trolley to wheel the stuff in and out, but then my stuff is very heavy.
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
  • Hello everyone,
    I'm not paticularly computer literate.
My name is Lynne & i'm helping to organise a couple of Taste & Craft fairs in Hillsborough Courthouse over the next couple of months.
At the last minute a couple of people have dropped out for this weekend!!
I hope this isn't inappropriate but if anyone is free please contact me.

Tables are £25 (they are provided), it's free admission & we have distributed posters & flyers locally.
A banner will 'appear' at Hillsborough roundabout on Thursday & it will be in the Ulster Star in the what's on section.
So we are doing our best to bring customers in!!

We'd love to hear from anyone interested
