I think if it makes you sad that you are not having one, then we should get our heads together and try to come up with cheaper options or other suggestions.
Could you just hire a function room and we could all bring food and stuff, so you wouldn't have to pay for catering. Somewhere with a bar so there would be no drinks for you to pay for? And provide your own music?

I can find out the details of the bunkbarn near Wales, it was gorgeous!!!! We had a fantastic time, took some games, much quaffing of wine and merriment, walking down to the local etc.
It's huge so plenty big enough for a great weekend party!
It sleeps about 16 I think, the more people you have, the cheaper it is. We went in October and the lady who'd booked it had a huge pot of chicken curry and baked potatoes ready by the time everyone else arrived.
In the evening we were all sat on the huge patio with wine, some of us went in the hot tub which was lovely. On the Saturday we went hill walking and horse riding on the Sunday.

Ive just been having a look at those places Linda Suggested Bun and some of them you pay £10 per person...if there were enough people it would be a huge party anyway
