    One of the most important lessons I have learned from my marriage break up was that having separate social lives is very important. A couple should be just that, TWO people, not a single entity. I love that song lyric (will remember the song in a minute...lol) that goes 'I don't want to be your other half, I believe that one and one make two'.

    I lost my identity when I was married, and it has been a hard fought battle to find 'me' again (that sounds a bit cheesy, but you know what I mean!).

    I think if I had been my own person, I wouldn't have been so unhappy and frustrated in the marriage, and wouldn't have felt so despairing and lonely when he stopped paying attention to me.

    You are right Snags...so right! I found that me about 2 years ago when that attention stopped, I have my life now, if he doesn't want to have his own life then I certainly won't be compromising what I do to compensate his lack of IYSWIM!

    Lots and lots of snow here, coming down very heavy at the moment.

    Managed to get the car off the drive which was a bit of a tenacious operation (there's a 4 foot drop at one side :eek:)
    Now in work with a sausage sandwich in one hand munching as I type

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Morning Bunny! You have to log in, then under 'Customer Services' there's an option to 'email us' - there's no email address though, you just fill it in on the site itself.

    I think that's right, but if you can't find it, I will log in and check.

    Hmm interesting theories. OH and I mainly socialise together but then considering we were introduced by friends that we've both had for years, I guess it's a bit different. I still like nights out/in with the girls though, sometimes you just gotta gossip!
