Last night I made myself some real comfort food, I did chips with loads of mushrooms, onions and gravy poured over......yum:D

Just got back from dropping DS off, someone had got stuck on the lane (same person every flippin year in his posh car) so had to wait for him to be pushed up the hill:rolleyes:

You just need a bit of courage, put your foot down and get up the blummin thing if you hesitate you will just slide back down again. It was fairly skiddy though:eek:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning all

    No snow here :(
Awful thing to say but was hoping to be snowed in so I didn't have to go to London this weekend, I don't have any money and can't afford to go but hate to let my friends down, one who is coming over from USA and I haven't seen for over a year.

Not much planned today, need to go to the post office and B and I are having haircuts this afternoon (mum is paying for mine as a birthday present :) ) and B is only £5 so have raided the loose change box.

Sammy, hope OH gets back ok, lots of snow around that area I think. Stay off the wine tonight won't you, remember you have a run on Sunday morning ;)

Snags, Mr Sunday is weird, sorry! Even if he is lovely and kind and perfect in everyother way!

Could be.. they were doing some voluntary redundancies, maybe they didn't get enough and are trying to freeze us to death

Lol, okay, salmon pasta for me and you Lou and jam butties for the kids. What time will you be round? :D

    Sammy, I can't, I haven't spoken to him for 2 days... :rotfl:

I was just commenting on how strangely non-miserable I am about this fact. Although I'm not ready to dump him yet, he's too pretty and too much fun. ;)

OMG!!! My HC Tasting Club chocs have just arrived (finally!). The box is HUUUUUGE! Someone take them out of my hands immediately!!

I'm actually not usually a huge fan of anything called praline, ganache or truffle, so some of them will definitely be wasted on me, but I have just had a blueberry truffle and the filling was amaaaaazing!

Better put them away now before I eat lots! :D
