Ive just been having a look at those places Linda Suggested Bun and some of them you pay £10 per person...if there were enough people it would be a huge party anyway :)

sounds brill.... kids? or no kids?

I think meets in weatherspoons have outlived their usefulness now as too busy, too many people get missed (edinburgh and manchester folks never found us)....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Exactly!
It's the people that make the fun bunnykins - not the venue!
I bet you'd have a much more amazing birthday party guilt free without wondering what else the money could have been spent on!

No travel hassles and more friends would be able to celebrate with you!
EDIT (AND MORE TO SPLIT THE COST! :money:)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

This one looks good - says it sleeps 15, but I think, providing they don't check, you could easily have more people there, with airbeds etc.

Three night weekend break for £500 = £34 per person! Available for your birthday weekend.... ;)

(Edit - even if most people only wanted to stay one night, £34 is still cheaper than the average night in a hotel, and we could bring plenty of wine, so no pub prices to pay!).

Think it would depend on whether Bun would want to bring hers and then everyone else can decided themselves...

That is very similar to the one that we were in (deffo not the same one though!)

Oooh, the bunkbarn idea sounds good! Or even the hiring a hall/room and everyone bringing something along. And if there's at least 15 of us we could all chip in to buy Bunny's bunk as a birthday present, it'd only be a couple of pounds each.

I've been into town, I was dreading going in so close to xmas even on a weekday, but it was dead. I can't remember the last time I saw it so quiet, even Primarni I was in and out. Got gloves from there - 2 pairs for £1, I get them every year and always end up with just one glove left, the sock monster branches out in this house!

I was naughty though and left the heating on so it'd be warm when I got in, so glad I did!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

  • Ah, the barn looks fab!

Great idea, I think kids would have to come-I don't have anyone that would have the kids over night...

  • Think would need to sleep more-or have another place that could fit people in!
