Hi guys, it's been a bit odd up here but I've managed to at least lurk most days (even if I've not felt able to post anything).

I think the idea of a bunkbarn mse meet is a great idea, but I'd not be able to make it at the beginning of february (end of my first week back at work and I'd wanna spend every minute of the weekend with Evie, plus it's my wedding anniversary and i'm sure he and I would like to spend some time together:o

Need to get some sleep as the alarm is set for 4.30am :eek::eek:. Will be well worth it though :D

Oh, the joys of Xmas cards.

My Grandad John died years ago and my Nana Dot (his partner) won't speak to anyone from my side of the family anymore (dispute over the will and funeral costs) but I send her a Xmas card every year. I just found out that the address I send them to, she hasn't lived at for years. No wonder I never get a reply. I'm now feeling really upset as she put my name on her card to my grandma and grandad from my dad's side of the family (she still sends cards to them but they've got the wrong address for her too) and maybe she wants to get back in touch and thinks I'm ignoring her. :(

Also, my cousin goes by her maiden name on Facebook but everyone else in the family knows her by her married name. I've just addressed the card to her maiden name. Now I remember why I don't do Xmas cards. :rotfl:

Edit - I can't even spell my own flipping name tonight!

Sally I know that when I am tired, stressed, run down etc any negative thoughts seem to 'stick' if you know what I mean. When I am well and happy any bad thoughts are easily shrugged off.

  • Evening all :santa2:

sally, I know this may sound morbid but could you not write a few letters? To Bea of course that you can entrust with a family friend, or add into your will? Then if heaven forbid something does happen she will at least have those. To be honest I think its just one of those things all parents go through at some stage and although it feels strange it is perfectly normal. Maybe it will be one of those things you look back on in years time and smile.

Anyways take care as always :A

Sally I think that black clouds have alot to answer for and I am sorry that you are not getting the support you need from the people you should be getting it from:o

I too have had feelings of panic and despair (still do) and I think that it is a Mothers natural fear of leaving her children behind. I wish I could help more but you know where we are if you need to offload:grouphug:

Ellie........pass the strawberry and orange creams will ya:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
