*havent totally caught up yet but just must say !!!!!! just cried(As in 2 tears so hardly crying really)cos of a Criminal Minds thing, it reminds me of something and my Mother just LAUGHED at me. and a couple of weekends when I had a real freak out i.e cried (first one in months and they don't happen that often) she didn't even come near me I had to ring my best friend and sob down the phone to her.
Makes me so mad, I feel like a right weirdo for crying and I am the one that isfor ever telling people it is normal.

Sally I know that when I am tired, stressed, run down etc any negative thoughts seem to 'stick' if you know what I mean. When I am well and happy any bad thoughts are easily shrugged off.
You are right Elpostingalwaysposting wrote: »Evening all :santa2:
sally, I know this may sound morbid but could you not write a few letters? To Bea of course that you can entrust with a family friend, or add into your will? Then if heaven forbid something does happen she will at least have those. To be honest I think its just one of those things all parents go through at some stage and although it feels strange it is perfectly normal. Maybe it will be one of those things you look back on in years time and smile.
Anyways take care as always :A
Pap thanks hun, its something I have def thought about doing since she has started asking more question and is obviously more aware. Its funny, I remember finding letters my mum had written to us all when I was about 13 and was very very upset by it, I think I was worried why she has written them but I totally understand now!Sally I think that black clouds have alot to answer for and I am sorry that you are not getting the support you need from the people you should be getting it from:o
I too have had feelings of panic and despair (still do) and I think that it is a Mothers natural fear of leaving her children behind. I wish I could help more but you know where we are if you need to offload:grouphug:
Thanks Lou, blooming black clouds, blooming stress, blooming everything :rotfl:I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Sal, not much help I know, but just wanted to say that as Stu retreated more and more from his family, I had those same thoughts too. I was scared of leaving Ryan and Natasha, and wondered who the hell would take care of them. Nobody could love them like I do, no-one can comfort them when they are upset, or reassure them when they are scared like I can.
It's actually the reason I started running - I wanted to be healthier, to give myself the best chance possible of not checking out early.
We can't guarantee we will be there to see our children into their adulthood and beyond, we can only do our best to bring them up to be secure, independant individuals who know beyond any shadow of a doubt they are loved and cared for. If (god forbid) something does happen to us, that is the most important gift we can have given them.
Not all that reassuring, but at least you know you are not going mad, and you are not alone in feeling that way and having those thoughts."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
