*havent totally caught up yet but just must say !!!!!! just cried(As in 2 tears so hardly crying really)cos of a Criminal Minds thing, it reminds me of something and my Mother just LAUGHED at me. and a couple of weekends when I had a real freak out i.e cried (first one in months and they don't happen that often) she didn't even come near me I had to ring my best friend and sob down the phone to her.

Makes me so mad, I feel like a right weirdo for crying and I am the one that isfor ever telling people it is normal.

    rant over.

will catch up and be back in a sec xxx

Buffy crying is normal....ive been doing it most of the evening
Have a hug hun :grouphug: and next time you feel sad tell your mum you might be an adult but every now and then a hug from her would really be appreciated!

On a lighter note (slightly), could I just have a little rant about a friend of mine who is completely having the wool pulled over her eyes by a Turkish bloke she met online. She has caught him flirting with other women time and time again, but is convinced, despite everything, that she is his one true love, and the others didn't mean anything. And you think I am delusional about Mr Sunday... :rotfl:

She is ringing me twice a day at the moment to drone on and on and on about him, and then in between, she accosts me every time I sign in to MSN or FB and rambles on about him some more.

I feel bombarded. I am finding myself not answering the phone, and not signing into MSN unless I really have to. Bit ashamed to say I often just ignore her if she messages me on FB. She has rung twice whilst I have been getting the kids to bed, even though I frequently hint that between 7pm and 9pm is tricky (if it was a 10 minute conversation, it would be fine, but it's an hour every time).

    GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

    Feel better now. :)

Thank you snags..you do have a wonderful way with words, and you are right, so right!

As for the friend ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Why is she phoning, just to go on about how wonderful he is, or does she have problems with him?

Pah, have to go to flipping work tomorrow, and I know it will be dead and I could be at home enjoying the Christmas build up and tidying the house!

:o Just didn't want you to feel you were going mad....or at least let you know you weren't alone in your madness. :)

Oh, she just goes on and on about the things he has done, the explanations he has given her for his behaviour, and how she believes him...repeat ad nauseum.

I'm not sure whether she is trying to convince me, or herself.

She doesn't know about here. Here is safe. :D:D

I have to work tomorrow as well in the anti-viral centre, I'll be taking a big pile of research papers in with me, it'll be very quiet.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Brr gonna have to break out another blanket for the bed tonight I think.

Lou, is the Smiths greatest hits with 45 tracks a good place to start? I've got a free Napster trial (with £5 cashback!) and I can get that for £2.95. On itunes it's £30!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
