I am sitting here on my own thinking about opening the tin of Quality Street that is calling to me !

Hello, mission into town was a success!

Got Rocky a 'chewy tunnel' and some dandelion root sticks, called into Home Bargains and got 2 V Tech butterflies for the 2 babies in the family and a Christmas craft set for Jess that was £1.99 so she's very busy making Christmas cards and decorations now.

There was Wall E set of drawers with colouring pens in (proper Disney one) that was reduced to £3.99 so I got that too. :T

We have just done the 50% off Pizza Hut MSE code for tea yummy
we were all sat on the floor having a huge carpet pizza picnic, the cats were circling like sharks.

Bookie I would just send a quick text to say you didn't want to pester but you were worried that you hadn't heard anything and was their an update. Im sure it will just be a case of her forgetting or being too worried to remember.

Thanks guys, but surely I should give her something she wants rather than just anything? She wants a ticket to see a band in Leeds (£30), then there'll be travel here and she probably wont stay with me so a hotel, split between me and dad. Even if she stays here, half of it is a lot more than I'd planned to pay, I wanted to make next year money neutral for all presents.

Linda, sounds great! I can't get the 50% deal because they don't deliver here, I'm doing a pasta with lots of olives, sun dried tomatoes and chunks of salami. Then I need to phone mum to see how we can swap presents for the few hours I'll be in Scarborough on Monday, I was going to go see her on Sunday afternoon but obviously can't now. Might have to meet in the car park on her break.

Ames, it's enough from you to only buy the ticket - if it's that important for her, she'll find a way to pay for travel and the hotel.
