I know what all my presents are. Dad's putting £200 towards a TV for my xmas and birthday present, sister's not getting me anything (but has very definite ideas about what she wants from me), and mum's getting me the Snow Patrol greatest hits, a bottle of coffee baileys, a houseplant and a box of chocs. Well, she says she's getting that, she often ends up not getting us anything.

Kayleigh, we could end up passing each other, I'm leaving S on monday!

I've already got it, but I'm not happy about her suggestions for her birthday.

Ames, give her a very small token gift for her birthday....something that is obviously a freebie....and say 'I guessed at Christmas that we had an unspoken agreement not to do presents any more, but this was a freebie and I thought you might like it'.

You're still giving her a present (so no guilt), you're telling her there wont be any more presents, and best of all, you're making it sound like her idea. :rotfl:

Unfortunately, I don't get back to Scarborough until the 23rd. I'm only going as far as Chesterfield on Mon, since my dad decided to move house since I've last been home. Do you think he's trying to tell me something? :rotfl:
