Which airline is next to collapse?

Dont mean to sound gloomy, just concerned. So after the flyglobespan collapse,who are the likeliest candidates next, if any, for the chop?

Although British Airways is making large losses and has a big hole in its pension fund it has lots of cash and the advantage of a dominant position at Heathrow. It won't be going bust anytime soon. The post is an invitation to pointless speculation. Even if you choose a large airline with big reserves like BA, Ryanair and Easyjet there's no guarantee you won't be affected by strikes or routes being cut - in the case of Ryanair with little notice and without offering the alternatives stated in EU directives.

I'm sure that all these unfortunate flyglobespan customers would have been happy with some "pointless speculation" before booking and handing over large sums of hard earned cash for their trips and holidays.

Easyjet wouldnt suprise me - they seem to be cancelling flights next year left, right and centre GRRRRR

Could be any of them - make sure you use a credit card for any flights costing more than £100. There are clearly some front-runners, though, but you need to talk to someone in the know. Simon Calder said the other day that it had been well known in the industry for some time that Flyglobespan had problems.

they are taking booking for next winter already, at some ridiculiously low prices.........................

Jet2 have always released their flights a lot earlier than Ryanair and Easyjet. As for ridiculously low fares it's quite the reverse from Newcastle.
