Well, that there is something wrong with your common sense, because according to both Quidco and TCB representatives it is listing fee (whatever that means), not Final Value Fee as your common sense tells you. Ask them yourself if you don't believe me.
If it was listing fee then you would be getting a share of 10p to up to £1.30 most of the time
Most of the time it is 40% of 10% though, which means it is FVF
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/fees.html

For example- one of the items I have on TCB that I have won, starting price of £5, no listing upgrades, so that would have been a fee of 25p.
It went for £10.05, and I got 55p, so roughly 50% of 10%, which as they are a private seller they would have been charged. (It was during the 50% promo they did)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

    And this is the case.

This is what TCB representative Ryan said:
"I'm afraid that it is not really possible for us in any given instance to explain as to as to how to this cashback figure has been calculated, due the large number of variables there can be in making a listing. From what we do notice however, this does not include the 'Final Value Fee' (i.e. 10% of your final selling value, capped at £40) - or at least not this fee in its entirety."

And this is what Steve from Quidco said:
"Ebay revenue is the money eBay.co.uk makes from the sale based on their listing fees less taxes (VAT). The revenue can vary depending on the sellers listing options and whether they use any discounts, donate a portion of the sale to charity etc."

    No mention of FVF.

Well then, check our eBay transactions listed in message no. 14.

Then it would never be a uneven figure.

Basically, they are saying they don't know there, but they look like they are guessing. As you can see from the link I posted, fvfs are a lot more complicated than just 10%.
That is not taking into account the upto 40% discount that the big sellers get (I think it is still 40%- we're only on 20%, so I don't pay much attention :D)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

No I read the entire thread and still ask you the same question.

Did you read the feedback from someone who had asked TCB the question?

I asked TCB and Quidco myself. Read the answers I got. It is not FVF.

Yes, I know, you are obviously having an individual problem. On your basis though, anything starting at 99p from a private seller would not be eligiable for cashback, and I know from transactions that have paid out that is not the case.

It's not always complicated. I often buy from ordinary people, not businesess, so it is usually possible to calculate eBay revenue precisely in such cases.
Try explaining the earnings quoted in message #14.

I inserted also reply from Quidco now in message #34.

Honestly, I don't know. Do you always keep a clear browser? Do you use goofbay, or other third party applications?

All I know is that it can't possibly be on listing fees, and my cashback is coming through fine.
Not at 60% granted, but still fine.

Well, I am pretty sure it is not on FVF, and both Quidco and TCB confirm that (more or less).
I rather did not expect that someone will be able to solve the problem here, I just wanted to share the problem with others, to let you all know that such problems exist (perhaps you would then discover similar in your cases), that not all is fair, and to see how it is in your cases.
