If you can get to number 7 with a video podcast, can you imagine what you could do with an audio one?
I'm listening to Motley Fool's podcast right now.
All you need to convert the Mutterings to a Podcast is a blog and Feedburner (used by a great many podcasters)
It can even do it very quickly with a free service like blogger (here's how) - then if it was decided later to continue on a more professional basis, a blog could be set up on mse and it's new address given to the Feedburner account (so the subscribers are automatically switched over without doing anything!)
All that then has to be done is once a week the Muttering's file be linked to from a blog post. Feedburner does the rest.0 -
I used it as a lesson starter today. My kids are doing movie editing and are learning about planned and unplanned events and why they need to plan and script their work. Yours was a great example of something unscripted but well produced and they were able to work out that it was because you were a professional and used to live work that you were able to do it. Oh and the odd little stumble showed them why they would not be able to do it.
Thanks MartinThe best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
Just watched the podcast today - I think it's a great addition to the site.
I hope you decide to continue with it, although I agree with the above posters suggesting an audio only version too.

Quite simple I don't want to install any Apple software on my PC0 -

Oh, I see. Don't know why but that's your choice I guess!
Martin, the podcast should definitely be a regular thing if its high up the charts already :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Almost all the video podcasts I can think of come in an Apple format.
It's asking a lot to have several versions every single week.
A flash player - either hosted on MSE or one of the online providers - would seem to be a good idea0
