I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

I think we are forgetting to identify that this thread is all about PCNUK-LTD pcnuk- ltd PCNUK whatever their current name is, I'm betting if I did a search for PCNUK-LTD this thread wouldn't be nearly at the top of any search for PCN-UK LTD and that it really should be up there for anyone having any experience of their practices.

Together we can make a difference.

And to back that up, let us not forget this statement which was on their original website:-

The action we generally take to recover any balance is usually as below

Step 1, we send a reminder letter then a final reminder notice.

Step 2, Visit the address of the registered keeper to hand them any further notices, collect the balance and to look for goods to seize.

Step 3, if payment isn’t received then we would normally seize the vehicle or seize the keeper’s personal property.

Step 4, If the keeper has no real value in property then we will issue them with a court summons to attend court. There can be many outcomes from this step.
Do you have a copy of the page on their website? I dont seem to find this particular information on their website

Unfortunately I think Ashford deleted it when lots of people picked up on it a few weeks ago. There may be someone somewhere who has a screen grab or something though.

You will be pleased to know that a certain pcnuk is our newest member of the MSE forum and has an active interest on this thread (not surprisingly)! They have kindly sent me another threatening PM via the MSE forum- which I am not sure if I am at liberty to discuss! (Kindly advise, if I would be breaking any forum rules/ the law by discussing PMs sent to me)

Not at all, it's entirely up to you whether you disclose a PM. Make sure you take a screen shot and a print out.

If this does go to court, and there's any chance that Ashford might turn up, I want an invite!!
Hehehe I wouldn't mind paying the guy a visit ;) I've seen his pic on facebook, a little searching for his full name, maybe a little look on the electoral register and bob's you're uncle ;) Await your visit Ashford ;)
