    Morning All

Tonights Dinner is in the slow cooker already as I did regret not getting my act together when I had to faff about last night!

I finally started on the present wrapping last night and got stuck into it for a good couple of hours until I ran out of paper:rolleyes: I'll pick some more up today and get some more done tonight...have a feeling i'll be at it for a couple of nights....and then some more when I finish my panic buying....:o

It doesn't feel as cold here as it has done some mornings lately but I haven't been outside yet! DS1 is off work today so he's taking me to work and then hopefully going to get himself some clothes for christmas - he's picked very little so far.

Another busy day at work today - lots of books in and we're moving offices on Monday but the boss is sorting that thank goodness.

Right better get organised - hope every has a good day

    Good morning.

Not been online since yesterday morning so hope that everyone is well. I'll catch up with yesterdays thread later.

Food shopping this morning can't wait as the fridge is looking decidedly bare apart from some potatoes, onions & carrots and a few yoghurts knocking about  It was easy to clean yesterday though :T Shopping list and menu plans done so I should be able to whizz round. I'm buying the gammon and turkey today for Christmas so will get that in the freezer.

WM been on twice & the TD is on its 1st load. Freezing here so the heating is on also. Lunch will be a quick grabbed affair so don't know what yet. Dinner is pasta sauce which I'll stir some ham into and penne pasta with cheese on. I make the pasta sauce in a big batch and freeze it, so it's an easy meal.

Have a good day all & hugs where they are needed at this sometimes difficult time of year HSarmhugs_9780.gif

    Morning all

Dark and soo cold here.... Woke up when OH when to work and peeked out the bedroom window to see if we had the promised white stuff, to my relief we hadn't but very hard frost. OH made me a cup of coffee at 4.30am which he brought to me in bed, ahh, drank it and then snuggled back down all toasty and warm until alarm went off at 6.30am.

Feel very proud of myself as I managed to keep the leftover roast meat from Sunday and last night I re-heated it in a casserole dish of gravy and whilst that was cooking I did the veggies and so had a good meal from leftovers, ordinarily we would have eaten virtually all the meat on Sunday and put the rest in the fridge and I'd have found it in a few days time and thrown it away! We had 8 meals from the leg of lamb, not particularly cheap tho, as lamb is expensive but we hadn't had it for ages so very much enjoyed. Forgot to get the chicken out of the freezer for tonight so need to get that out in a minute.

Only have half day at work today then Carol Service at church, my mum is coming to so that will give her a change of scene for an hour or so.

Have to go now, keep safe and well, hugs to those that need them.

    Happy Birthday HeavenLeigh:bdaycake:

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Tru :heartsmil:heartsmil:heartsmil

Hope all celebrating have a lovely day.

Been awake since 5.30 so got up just after 6. I know that this is a regular occurrence for many of you but it seems a bit early for me! DH isn't sleeping well at the moment so my sleep quota has diminshed!

More packing and cleaning to do today. Will pack up the kitchen and defrost the freezer. We're leaving the FF so that will give me the chance to give it a good clean. Then I'm buying plastic forks and ready meals for the next couple of days!

Need to ring vet to see if we give our older dog a muscle relaxant for the move on Fri. We have quite a long trip and she has an arthritic hip and is on tablets which help it. She doesn't lie down and sleep in the car as she has to take care of us all :). However, we're having an overnight stop so that will be easier for her.

Big (((hugs))) to those who are feeling in need of some comfort today. Keep warm everyone

    Happy holidays to N9eav,and Flutterby.

Our trip to the Trafford centre went quite well, traffic not too bad and shopping not too hectic. We got what we wanted anyway, just all needs wrapping now.

Our football team played last night, so we had to wrap up well. Our friend who gave us a lift home is starting with a cold,so she was shivering away.Hope she hasn't passed it on!Luckily I took a flask of Bovril so that warmed us up at half time.

Tea will be pork chops cooked in the Remoska.Going to do some ironing now so everyone have a nice day.x

:bdaycake:Many Happy Returns Heavenleigh & Nelski :bdaycake:(Hope someone comes along with a lovely half naked fireman for you Nels)

 Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Tru:beer:

MSD  hope you get that tooth sorted asap.

Been missing in action as was away and laptop still not back from repairman - they had found 20 malware infections last time I spoke to them! Will ring them in a mo and hope to pick it up today. At the moment I have nicked DS' lappy which is very slow and incredibly dirty! So I have totally missed all your news for the last few days (((hugs))) to all that need them.

Miley Cyrus was bearable, hotel was nice & had a lovely day Monday wandering around Covent Garden & the West End before DD's hospital appointment. Spent a lovely half hour mooching around the 3 storey high paperchase in Tottenham Court Road - was v v busy though.

Today am off out first thing to a company half hour away to get prices for our kitchen worktops (which I burnt with my remoska :o) as not many places sell the extra deep ones. Think the insurance company will be a little suprised at the quote as managed to burn it on the join & one worktop has the sinks cut out of it and the other the cooker. Once home will be attacking the wrapping with OH. Can't wait to get it done and dusted, will then make a list of the last few bits of food I need and hopefully start getting organised. Enjoyed Jamies Christmas dinners last night - may make the gravy he did.

Will be something very simple for dinner - probably egg and chips.

No snow here yet - think we are meant to get it with it Friday night, always a worry for us as our lorries work overnight and often before the roads are done. Very cold at the moment though will be wrapping up warm today.

Best get on, have a great day.x

Good Morning Everyone! I seem to be only an intermittent poster these days - will try to do better in the New Year! Brrrrh! It's parky out there this morning! have a hair appt so need to get a shift on. Off next Wed to Germany for Christmas - so nearly went with BA, but fortunately decided on GermanWings instead!
Well, cards seem finally to be done and hope to get the last few presents this afternoon. It's a good feeling when some things can be ticked off the ever-growing list!
Need to catch up on everyone's doings, as I am really out of touch. Hope you all have a great day.
