that is is a great idea may look into that one afterall they
had enough in premiums £1450 but when we changed car
there was a 50 quid mid term adjustment fee as they called it
i can get a weeks tempory cover for 35 quid so if they wont
any more they can whistle
just another thought although the car is taxed it does expire
at the end off this month can you tax with temporory insurance0 -
As long as you have a proper certificate showing the car is insured on the date the tax comes into force (1/1/10 in this case).0

Just had a thought. If you pay HPi £20 for a vehicle check, then call Norwich Union with your ref number, they'll give you a week's free insurance. Its meant so you can 'driveaway' a new car you've bought. Might be cheaper than temporary insurance. I did it recently and temp cover was about £10 for one day, and they wouldn't cover me at all as I'm under 21, so it worked pretty well. They email you the insurance certificate to print off, which you can take to the post office for your tax.0

thanks thats a great piece off info hopefully wont have to tax the car0 -
Your driving other cars will cover it ok - as mentioned, check your policy doesn't have anything in it about the other car needing to be insured (most policies don't).
Most policies actually do have this. There are very few that allow a car thats not insured in its own right to be driven on "other vehicle".0
