The results are not skewed... If we had a general election and a party got enough votes (for whatever reason) to form a government then that is what would happen.
Imagine if a general election was called and not many people knew about it. Then imagine one group of people went round telling like minded people about the election so they all voted. I wouldn't call that a fair vote. I wouldn't call it democracy. The results would be skewed. People would rightly be out on the streets demanding a fair election.
The fact that it is 20 years since the Hilsboro' tragedy and people still feel strongly enough to register their disgust at there sickening lies proves the strength of feeling.
Now that I agree with. The one thing this poll does show is the strength of feeling among Liverpool supporters that they are prepared to put in their time to come over to this site to vote on a somewhat meaningless poll. Good for them. Their cause deserves the publicity.

And hopefully a fair number of these people will stick around on the site and save some money, submit tips for the rest of us, etc.
  • Barclays are giving me the worst customer service I've had in a long time BUT Britain would be poorer if they and their Arab friends were no longer in business.
  • I voted Sainsburys (having worked there) but I missed The Sun so would have voted for that if i'd seen them.

Where's Royal Mail? Laziest bunch of wasters ever.

posties work extremely hard, in all weathers, for low pay, they are expected to finish their rounds in a certain amount of time (as determined by a computer, that hasn't actually done the round), despite the fact this is often physically impossible to achieve, forcing them to work in their own time to finish. many of them use their own cars, with no petrol expenses paid, to enable them to deliver to outlying areas more efficiently. believe me, they are not lazy or wasters.

I wouldn't close any of them to be honest. Im sure they've all had their own moments of bad customer service but which company hasn't. Im sure they've all had their good moments too. I think some people expect too much from companies though just because they're a big corporation. I've read more than one topic on here where I really think it's the fault of the customer or they're simply expecting too much. Take the meter reading example above. While it's annoying for the people involved it's hardly the fault of the company if someone else has incorrectly recorded the meter reading. What are they meant to do, just ignore it?

    .

they're not meant to ignore it - they're meant to accept that it's not physically possible to use £500 worth of electric in 6 days, and work with the customer to find a solution, rather than threatening people - this is about poor customer service, anonymous call centres, with poorly trained people not recording details of calls properly, being rude and unhelpful.
  • Could we not have had "News International" in there instead - BSkyB, The Sun and The Times in one fell swoop???

Still, I'd have to vote for the Daily Heil every time.

The Guardian. That should not only be shut down but also be totally exposed for it's hate crime dynamics which has only achieved so far corrupting minds. And one fine example of the quality, or rather lacking in should I say, of journalistic practise and the general trend highlighted, if you'd excuse me for posting an ancient little snippet and leaving it at it without further comments:

I don't read the Guardian myself, but I'm not sure quoting from (a) The Telegraph, one of its rivals and (b) loony-right rag the Spectator is a good way to make a case against it. I'm pretty sure every company on that list has been criticised by its competitors and some nutters at some point.

All the banks, for being evil to so many customers over the years, and Tesco, for being evil, and stealing from people by their illegal mis-pricing of goods.
  • The Sun's ahead because there must be a lot of MSE subscribers in Liverpool. Good on you.

I know it is fashionable to berate the daily mail, but I'm not too keen to jump into the bandwagon and here's why:

The Mail does deserve credit for their covering of that case - they stuck their necks out unnecessarily. Even the author of the excellent "Flat Earth News" is positive about Dacre regarding that story.

However, everything else they do stinks :(
  • I second the need for Royal Mail!

I voted Alliance & Leicester but am now regretting not voting BT...every bit as bad as Royal Mail.
