If people en masse voted against the banks that would not be classed as a hijacking nor, at this current moment in time, if travellers wanted to vent their frustration. It would be understood as quite acceptable.
However the backlash against that particular tabloid shows that even with the passage of time, even with its political power, there are a large number of people keen to make the most of a rare opportunity to demonstrate lies and insulting the dead will not be forgotten.
A big thank you to those sensitive souls who have commented their support already and to this site for giving so many the opportunity to have their say.

i cant see why people vote tesco? (just more sheep folowing what the papers say)
would you rather asda took over and all the profit went to usa?
or mayby youd prefer the money went to germany etc?
i use tesco as it means my money will have a higher chance of staying in the uk that way, as tesco is uk company.
i voted texaco as they are to blame for a lot of polution, a very corrupt company who would happily see the human race die a slow death if it ment they made 10% more proffit. and have a habbit of buying companies that make new products to save oil, (new bataries for electric cars etc) then closing the companys down.
loads of people vote as they got put on hold for too long or some other rubbish reason.0 -

although there are a few companys i could vote for i went for the sun.
many years of sensationalist tripe that appeals to morons who dont seem to know any better , from the gotcha headline to the 'truth ' one to getting people who don't know any better to to vote for who they want in power over the years.
there is many reasons not to buy it mine is simply the 'truth' one and for that reason only .
and thats why the boycott continuesLbm Spoke to Payplan August 2009 £29000.00

Much I hate the Sun and Tesco's Tescopoly it has to be the Daily Fail - the UK would be a better place without their racist, homophobic, xenophobic, hate-filled bile."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

The Daily Mail - years ago, I used to read this paper, 'cos I quite liked the Femail pages. But recently when I picked one up, I was horrified by the way it whipped up hatred for so many different minority groups. Talk about intolerant! Ah yes, and it was linked to the Evening Standard when it was waging war against Ken Livingstone when he was Mayor of London. Nasty tactics used there. What I object to most is the insidious way it delivers its pernicious messages - at least the Sun makes no pretense as to what it's all about!!!

Has to be BG, people voting for the tabloids are wasting their vote!!!
Newpaper's are often full of rubbish and fiction, but they also carry important news from time to time and a free media is an important part of a free society.
RBS & Lloyds voters you need to blame the government for rescuing them or the share holders for selling out on them, not the banks themselves. Though I hate all banks generally speaking, but thats only because they're clever enough to out smart the governments legislation 30 seconds after its made.
British Gas are morally bankrupt, having a ridiculaous range of tariffs and cheating people out of money left right and centre. They drop the prices, run a TV ad saying they're the lowest in the UK and then raise then 2 days after. Being a property landlord I have ALOT of problems with BG, miss bills, late bills, over bills, stupid bills, from what I can see made up bills.... never had a single nice transaction from them. But I have now learnt to fight back and no longer bow to them (which is turning out to be quite profitable)
Down with British Gas!!0 -

In your opinion!
Others may think otherwise about a group of people who refuse to change working practices in order that the business becomes profitable - otherwise they will disappear!Life is too short to drink bad wine!0
