Looks like the Facebook campaign for Rage Against The Machine is working as they're currently in the lead!

yes! everyone should do this0 -
The success of RATM getting to #1 is fully dependant on how well the X-Factor CD sells (it's out tomorrow, Wednesday).
HMV are indicating that once the physical format is available, X-Factor will go back into the lead. Providing that everybody who said they'd buy RATM actually does, then the campaign will ultimately be successful.
As of today, RATM are somewhere between 7%-10% ahead of X-Factor in terms of sales, depending on which website you read.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -

Exactly.
From NME:
"...tomorrow sees McElderry's abomination released on CD. Our source at the OCC says that about half of Alexandra Burke's sales last year were on CD. In other words, it doesn't look likely that RATM's early lead will be enough to keep them ahead once X Factor fans head down their local HMV."

P.S. Amazon and Tesco are selling the singles for 29p as a loss leader (ie: they lose about 11p on each sale in the hope people will buy other stuff)."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

either song is going to give simon cowell a big paypacket anyway so all those out there who think theyre destroying cowells smile will be heavily mistaken:rolleyes:Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

If you don't want to buy either X-Factor or Rage's single then buy The Muppets doing Bohemian Rhapsody instead.0 -
MSE why are you supporting Joe McEldery over Rage Against The Machine?!!!! You scum! I always had so much faith in you Martin but your bias is now coming out. It's a disgrace, Joe is not even the most popular song at the moment. I am quitting the MSE email list and will encourage my friends to do the same. And I will NOT buy Mcelderry, nice boy as he might be, despite your prejudice and anti-consumer bias. Bye bye MSE.0
