2014 Free Money - £59.84 Topcashback
2015 Free Money (so far) - £186.33 Topcashback
Why should the people who voted have to pay even more to get his single. They should give it free to everyone who registered a vote for him.
Apparently anything under 40p doesn't count towards the charts. Have a looksie - http://www.theofficialcharts.com/docs/Official%20UK%20Singles%20Chart%20Rules%20August%202009.pdf

MSE News: How NOT to buy Joe McElderry's X Factor single for 29p but buy RAGE instead
HI Chris (and all),
We've checked this out and added it to the news story. The Official Charts Company say the following:
"The rules do not specify a minimum retail selling price for the sale of a single to be eligible for inclusion. However, they specify a minimum published dealer price (what a retailer pays a record label for the song).
"This does not affect the ability of a retailer to carry out price promotions. Any genuine consumer purchases made as a result of a retailer promotion will be eligible as long as the single meets all other applicable chart rules."
Hope this helps
Dan
They'll be giving them away come end of week
But, it will count for Radio 1.
