  • I must admit I had to think for a bit what on earth a bed runner was? :rotfl:

Hahaha, Linda, I didn't see your hidden word at first, and thought you were whistling for a completely different reason (think 'Becky needing something salty....' :D).

Feeling MUCH better today. Had a very long talk with Mr Sunday (about an hour talking online and and then an hour and a half on the phone), and whilst nothing has really changed, I think we both understand exactly where we stand now. I do know that he is terrified of being in a relationship again because he is scared of how badly he has messed up in the past, and that he can't see himself with anyone at the moment, but isn't able to rule out a relationship with me in the future, and whilst he thinks I should continue dating, and he will be happy for me if I meet someone, losing what we have now would hurt him.

I know he has feelings for me now, and I have a clear idea of where I stand and what my choices are, and that is a much more comfortable and pleasant position than I have been in for the last 6 months.

Get you lot....posh folk with runners on your beds  :D

I've got a cheap throw folded into a 'runner' at the bottom of my bed, it was £2.99 from Dunelm Mill and the colour matches the bedding perfectly, and because it's a full sized fleece throw, it can be unfolded out to add extra warmth! :T

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • I rarely get around to making the bed, so a runner would probably end up screwed up on the floor :o

That's great Snags, not the ideal situation but such a step forward from where you have been :)
