  • thankyou.gifthankyou.gifthankyou.gifall for the birthday wishes, they have brightened up my day.

I ended up spending nearly 3 hrs at the hospital as one Dr wanted me to see a consultant while I was there which involved an hours wait. Had a nice hot chocolate and caught up on Aug/Sept copies of Heat and Now magazine which I never read.. wow celebrity gossip is strangely compelling when you are bored..

Also have horrible toothache. Had a twinge last friday so rang and made an appt for this friday but over the weekend it got worse. So, nothing chewy for me this week.. and thank God for pain killers and clove oil!

Anyway, thank you again for the birthday mentions. I will do a proper post and reply to people later on.

Oh and my OH just gave me a lemon iced birthday cake which I am enjoying with a cup of tea and Tristan just text me a Happy birthday message so that together with all your messages has me grinning from ear to ear.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Diva, hope that to-day has been a good one and that it continues.

    Redruby...hugs.

Intended to get to finish Christmas shopping to-day minus OH but he announced as soon as I got up that we were going shopping....never heard him say that before so I was really worried until he said that we needed a kennel for Kerry....she seems to misbehave every night, we have left down paper but she ignores it...so many hours later we bought a kennel which was too big to fit into our little car...DS3 collected it and now just have to sort a bed in there and we're away!

Did manage to do some of my shopping but decided to have dinner out which was nice, spag bol sauce will be fine to-morrow.

DD1 has again offered to cook Christmas dinner so all I have to do is the shopping, which is great, then we go to my brother on 26th so 2 whole days off will be nice!

Cold and damp here, seems to seep into all my bones, will have to start running around to keep the circulation going.

    Hugs to all,

    Marie

Well today has been a bit of a washout. I did manage to do the bedroom, bathroom, sewing room and landing.

The weather had cleared a bit and we decided over lunch to walk up to Tesco, OH came through into the living room and said he had a dizzy and was going to bed.....bang went the walk.......I went to Tesco in the car, the shops was heaving, people just standing around......children screamimg for sweets and queues a mile long at the checkout, I was so glad to get home.

OH arrived backdownstairs as I was trying to prepare supper and muscled in to fill the kettle to make a cup of tea........

Parcels all packed up, most of the cards have gone, just a couple to hand deliver and the ones for the family.....the decorations I am going to put up are up......
