Trafford Center is about 4 miles from BF's house, so I'll be stalking all the home furniture shops for a couple buying furniture (dining table) tomorrow :rotfl:

Most of mine and BF's arguments take place there as well, I'm usually the one outside the shops shouting at him to hurry up
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Well, there will be kids in tow as well, by the sounds of things, and I hope you haven't been having a row in front of my shop, making a big noise and giving me a headache, missy! :rotfl:

goodness me there's no escaping you two, but please if you see a blonde woman with a skinhead hottie husband, and two children then please intercept any attempts to buy furniture/curtains/coffee tables, agghh even writing those words gets my heart racing!!!

Today hubby came home with presents for us all, moonsand for the children and an orchid for me, I hope that is all his spending for the weekend, the bonus really is burning a hole in his pocket, I sent him to the bank yesterday to pay £500 off one of the credit cards and I said you can pay a good £300 extra as well because of your bonus, but he said he would wait until the end of the month to see how much he had 'spare' which means there will be nothing 'spare'

Wish me luck for tomorrow, another way of spotting us at the trafford centre is by looking for the only family in there who have taken a packed lunch, just off to make it now :rotfl:

I had today off (:j) so I didn't spot you.

However, I did spot a life-sized vegetable (a radish, I think) with a pair of binoculars hiding behind a bush near the car parks. :rotfl:

Stop making me giggle - hot tea on arm is not a good look

I went the other way towards Stockport to drink beer at the beer festival (surprisingly)

Where were you both I brought a dining table aagghh

Only kidding :rotfl:I was very good and managed to walk past all the tempting shops without even walking in, I didn't trust myself. Hubby went solo for a while looking for some new clothes but came back empty handed declaring the trafford centre 'a rip off' so all in all a good day. Legoland was packed and there were other people with packed lunches so that was good.

In worse news it is our wedding anniversary so brother-in-law has come to babysit while me and my lovely hubby go out for a meal this will possibly set us back £50 when you consider the drinks but we haven't been out alone for ages and it will be nice to spend some time together.

It has been lovely having a whole weekend off work for the first time in a month, although hubby did do overtime yesterday.

Hopefully p60 should come through this week so that I can ggive the tax office a ring to get some money back - fingers crossed.

Budget for it next year, and enjoy it this year: perhaps it's just what you need. And can you try to book a nice restaurant with a special offer/early bird menu?

Well I fell like I haven't posted in ages, the good weather has had me feeling all frivilous which is not a good luck when you are in loads of debt. For example, another day out to alton towers at the weekend and despite the fact that it should be a free day out due to our annual passes we ended up spending about £10 on treats and drinks. We really need to get focused again. Hubby has been in charge of the food budget this month, I was despairing the fact that we had nothing in the cupboards to make a meal with and so went to the cupboard to get the food money out only to find that we only had £40 left to last the month I have just spent £30 of this on essentials so there is no way that this is going to last us the rest of the month.

In better money news I have been advised to go for two jobs which have come up at work, one is a band higher and the other is 2 bands higher, if I got the latter it would mean a massive £10,000 more a year which is not to be sniffed at, however it would also mean going back to full time, currently I do 9-3 monday to friday which is brilliant and means I don't have to pay for any childcare so I would have to add up all the pro's and con's if (and its a big if) I got offered the job.

    Hey Emmie!

Well it certainly sounds like you have a lot to consider with regard to the potential jobs. I'd apply and see what happens, then you can make your mind up when you see where the land lies. But it's nice to see that they will all be positive decisions that you get to make, one way or another! :)

And as for not posting for ages *Groans*, I've been shocking on my diary. Best get to it...
