  • morning all. Haven't really caught up

Went and saw Father Christmas last night and had a bite to eat with DS and DD. Came home just as the snow started but DS and DD school is open - looks to be the only one in the area!

    Need to check the list.

Did anyone else have snow thunder last night?

    erm

IF a person had a mild electric shock from a set of fairy lights (broken bulb:eek:) would they need medical attention at all:confused:

Not unless they had a serious heart condition or a pacemaker... They have a very small power supply so not serious at all.

I put mine up last night, it is fibre optic but not overly so as it is a pine tree with cones on, really hard to describe but it looks bare with nothing on it so I let kids decorate it and then fix it to MY standard when they are in bed  win-win situation :D

I've managed it a couple of times but I find getting it back going again properly difficult. And as I don't have an ash can, I have to let it cool to empty the ash out!

I'm currently running on coal (smokeless) as the wood my aunt & uncle gave me has run out and the stuff from the garage was soaking wet (mouldy too) and is currently drying out. I can get some more dry wood at christmas, and then need to find a local source, and sort out storage.
