Think I need to do some flying now. Just walked round the house and there is MOUNTAINS of stuff everywhere. My living room floor has last night pyjamas and toys all over it, kitchen sink is full of yesterdays dishes... etc.....
Why will I never learn to tidy up as I go!!!

Greenbee - I bought my logs and big bags of kindling bagged from our local farm shop last year. They store them under cover unlike the garages so it was mostly ok. This year I built a wood store (two pallets and an old door!) and ordered 2 cubic metres of well seasoned logs for £90 delivered. We did see cheaper but the wood was very green. It does work out a lot cheaper than bags, and is a lot less hassle once you have it. We also burn a lot of gash from the house. Cold? Pull another wall down then......

I am going to sort the pantry and the fridges out. Famous last words. If I am not back in an hour send in the rescue teams.

Valli - How are you feeling after your shocking experience earlier? Ex DH No.1 did that once. But with an extension lead. Stuck his fingers straight on the live and shot across the room. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Well it wasn't really funny, but it was IYSWIM.

I have a visitor. Be back later.

  • Hi everyone! Just taking a break - have been sewing all morning as I had another sale this morning! That makes 8 brooches that I've sold now, hurrah!

DH has walked mud through the whole flat so I think I will take a break from work and do some flying! I've not looked at a list for days!

aaaaw rose honey, big hugs for you, such a nightmare worrying about money not much wonder you forgot your meds. Hope you have had a rest and are feeling a bit better. Will todays meds kick in at some point ? Dont worry about having a moan, we all need to let off steam
I think that's what it was, all the worry distracted me! I'm much better now tho thanks. Slept a lot yesterday! DH worked hard yesterday making phone calls and searching online for work.

Note to self - wellies and shovel and extra warm clothing IN CAR
    (also emergency chocolate ;))
This is a VERY good point, if you are going out in the snow make sure you have all the things you might need - people are crashing according to the news and the emergency services might be a while getting there in this weather - so do you have water, food, warm clothing, a shovel and a first aid kit in your car? Also a torch would be handy if you are going out in the dark

Love and hugs to you all, especially Lady Liberty and Diva
