Ouch Valli! Are you trying to copy stripes? Talking of stripes I bought her an indestructible bone toy today in case it is her teeth making her chew things....she destroyed it in less than 10 minutes!

Triker - how lovely of the supermarket woman. A spar cashier did the same thing for my DD who really wanted the Dog dalmatian toy a few weeks ago. So kind!

I've walked dogs, cleaned out guinea pigs (as a surprise for DD), picked up prescriptions, picked up mulled wine and nibbles for friends coming back after school.

I'm going to wrap for an hour then go and help with the school party. Yeahhhhhh! School's nearly over!!! Yeahhhhh! Yeahhhhhh! Yeahhhhhh!

Lala - you made me laugh this morning - that was sooooo funny!

    Hugs to you all.

LL - you could try the big bow, flashing lights and sub-machine gun people will notice you then. Hugs xxxx

Crafty very Happy Birthday to you x
LL you star, just be careful!
serena always makes me giggle how much southern areas grind to a halt because of snow! With your DS I'd put in a complaint, that sounds a little OTT as a reaction & they could have phoned you to confirm what he said instead of branding him a liar.
kaz pleased you had a good time x Poor pooch x
Penny our drain was frozen, not good but easily cleared

Both boys at school, noone cried off (think some are using it as an excuse for an extra day!) been to the castle for my Dad's present, they have done the gift certificate in a Elizabethan style scroll & it looks lovely. 4 more argung emails with Thorntons later they are sending the delivery out next day on Monday, I win. Waiting for that & an Avon order...then we are done I think pressie wise. Just need to find what I have bought....hmmm. Oh eeek no, I need to get little Ms, bother I best reserve it.

Best go get something done as appointment at 2pm so that leaves me about an hour then anything else will have to be done with small things around me ankles

Argh my Amazon order has gone to my old house, arghhhhhhhh..................
One day I might be more organised...........

    - I've got a right wood system.

Logs being seasoned behind the playhouse
chopped logs in wood store to side of house
logs to be used next in a basket on the doorstep - this area is covered
logs around the heath drying out - mould dries off real quick

Kindling in bags in the side shed and then into a basket by the fire
Small chunks of wood in boxes in the loft then into metal container by the fire

sack of coal in the side shed
large bucket of coal on the hearth

I'm lucky all my wood is free from friend, neighbours, friends of friends etc.

    Happy Birthday crafty:bdaycake:

One load of washing draped round outside, I was going to hang it out but I could see my neighbour's had frozen on the line so I didn't bother.

I've been defrosting the bird bath all morning.

    Vacuumed through downstairs.

Spent an hour on the computer and finally got tickets for Rufus Wainwright next April :)

This is what I aspire to :p

I'll try to get the fire going again once I'm off the phone for the day, and then move downstairs to work where I can supervise it :D

LOTS of work to do, as I've had a successful morning...
