spare room decluttered dusted dewebbed & vacuumed.

Pigpen - how could you put the garage on the list????!!!! - how did you know we have a double garage & cant get any cars in it because of all the junk??? (half of which is MILs which I have been told I can't throw out) I promise we will tackle the garage after Christmas (when we have finished the boxroom....)
DS finishes school at lunchtime tomorrow so he is going to be told to either help me with the boxroom or do his bedroom ( I'm pretty sure the boxroom will win)

Trying to decide whether to go to London tonight... It's looking nasty outside... condensation is appearing on the windows . I don't want to be coming home late in the snow :o as the roads here can be nasty, but I know my London friends will think I'm being pathetic. And I need to work it all out by 5pm.

    It's COLD here too :D

After I hung washing out earlier I did some sweeping up of leaves out there. It's the first time for ages it's been dry enough to sweep up. Couldn't get them all but it's better and this cold wind has really dried up the paths. Less moisture to freeze tonight!

Well, what with attics and now garages I think I'll just give up. I'm never going to complete everything now, the garage contains the car and DH's bike and various other bits and pieces. We cleared it out about a year or so ago and I don't think anything else has appeared in there but I have no intention of checking. Surely some of the jobs must be his, they can't all be mine, only 95% of them.

So much for having a break. Old lady (pooch not mother!) threw up everywhere. She does that once in a while - bless her. Anyway, took the opportunity to put both dog beds in the washing machine whilst I'm up to date with the washing.

Once I'd done that there was no point sitting down so I've done 15 minutes in the garden including fill the feeders up. I got some special robin food for my birthday which they love. Their feeder is right by the kitchen window which is lovely. I put stripes on the body lead so as I pottered round the garden she followed me round and kept looking at me as if I was a little mad - she's one to talk!

Meant to say - stripes chewed through an electric extension lead this morning. Luckily it had been unplugged at the weekend or we'd have had one dead doggy! Looks like we'll have to get the crate back down which is a shame as she'd done so well but her safety is important. The extension lead was behind the skirting behind a sofa so how she got it - daft pup!

School run and madness now descend - hugs to all xx

    What is a body lead?

I forgot to say earlier we had doggy diarrhoea to deal with so have washed and dried doggy beds too. Little horror stole some leftover chilli DSs had left out last night. I think the smell has made them a bit more careful about what they leave around. It explains the noise she was making last night too. I was up in the snow in my jarmies at 4 am.

Our big dog chewed through an extension lead. It made him yelp, and he hasn't done it again recently..... wouldn't swear on him not doing it again. Both vacuum leads have chewed bits.

At least I have something for the path in an emergency... I never seem to have salt when I need it. As long as I don't let anyone into the house it won't matter!

Och, mine is in the garage, but because there is so much trash in there, I have no idea where :o. And I'm not buying anymore!
Oh! can someone help me out with an idiots guide to cornbeef hash please?(remember it's me that will be making it and I'm a rubbish cook!) My DS2 had some at a friends house the other day and now he wants me to make it. I would really like to as he is a fussy eater and it sounds as if it is quite good.

I swear by Delia's recipe http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/main-ingredient/meat/beef/corned-beef-hash-with-fried-eggs.html although I CBA with the fried eggs.

Went back to bed and had a good sleep. Missed the Christmas Lunch as I just wasnt up to it. I'm just going to phone work to report sick for tomorrow. I might try to brave the garage to get the toolbox so I can put the card holders up.

    Afternoon all
soappie how do you park a car in the bedroom or do you sleep in the car:confused::rotfl:

I park the car on the drive and sleep in the garage! Seriously, I had the garage converted into a bedroom when the kids were little (I initially shared a bedroom with my daughter) and it's my bedroom. I like it.

It has windows on two sides and the original back door to the garage which opens onto the side yard, it's lovely working in there in the summer with the windows and door wide open. The front room was big enough for a corridor to be put in along one wall to access it. It's there where my little loft is (the garage had a half pitch roof). I'll see'f I can dig a picture out....

No snow here but it's cold enough to should the cloud decide to head this way.

    Off to fly a bit
