The figure for those who dont claim I saw somewhere on another cusomer programme cant remember where.
As regards when you cheque arrives. I understand that companies such as this "batch" their cheques. In other words the wait till they have a lot of them then send them out. That is why sometimes it is very quick - my first one last year took only 1 week. Whereas my other two took longer. So its the luck of the draw as to when your claim hits them.
;DI am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

Do they do a credit check on you as part of getting into the contract (I presume they do)? It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0

There were some posts on here b4 the change about Fwd Cellular not sending orders or responding to e-mails or calls.
I ordered a phone on 16th Jan, had automated reply accepting order, but nothing since - no response to e-mails etc.
If they have gone out of business what happens to all our bank and credit card details?

Forward Cellular have been trading since April 1999.
In the past they have provided excellent service and continued to do so up to Christmas 04. I purchased 2 mobiles from them in mid December. Both were received within 3 working days and both were connected to T-Mobile correctly. I have just received my second T-Mobile bill and all is as it should be.
In accordance with Forward Cellular's T&C’s, I sent them a copy of my first
T-Mobile bill by recorded delivery on the 29th December 04. I noted that a message on their website stated that their office and order processing would reopen and commence on the 6th January 05. Therefore I am expecting a cashback cheque from them by the 4th February, at the latest as they state that cashback cheques will be dispatched within 28 days of receiving customers first mobile bills.
I also read the threads [that now seem to have disappeared] which stated that Forward Cellular were not responding to emails or phone calls.
I’m concerned as Forward Cellular owe me £483.00.
I emailed them on the 14th January, requesting bill receipt confirmation. I did not receive a response. I emailed them again on the 20th January. Again no response. I tried phoning their office four times today between 10.30/11.20. On three occasions I was informed that they were exceptionally busy and to call back later, then automatically cut off. On the fourth attempt I was placed in a queue but after 16 minutes was cut off again. Their phone numbers begin with the code 0870. Enough said!!!!!
Having failed to contact them by phone I have emailed them again today and faxed a copy of that email to them this evening on yet another 0870 number.
Would anyone else experiencing problems with Forward Cellular please post or repost.
Likewise if you have received a cashback cheque after the 6th January.

I received a prompt reply email from them on 6th January, promising a cheque in the next few days. It duly arrived a few days later. The cheque was dated around 20th December and was paid into my bank on 12th Jan and was duly honoured. Things must at least have been OK around 14/15 Jan or the cheque would not have been met.0

I sent a copy of my bill as required on 5/1/2005. Havn't heard anything yet, but they do say to allow 28 days. I have found them slow in the past, but they do generally honour their promises. I will email them and post again here if i get a reply.

Good news
[at least for me].
At 10.35 a.m. today I received an email from Forward Cellular confirming receipt of my cashback paperwork and informing me that my cashback cheque will be signed off this week.
