It sounds like he is just making conversation. Maybe you should try and toughen up if throwaway remarks like that upset you so much.
  • He should be thanking you
No parcels / post = no job
Maybe they should all go on strike again!
At the end of the day you're still ordering and he's still delivering :D
The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

More like he felt bolshie about having to deliver so many parcels and decided to be unpleasant about it to the customer! I can't see the OP did/said anything to spark him off - and she seems to have had problems with him before threatening to leave stuff on the doorstep.

You are probably right that if she complains nobody will give a monkeys - i wonder sometimes why companies bother with Mystery Shoppers because service standards just go from bad to worse.

  • I would take this up immediately with the Post Master General and have all of them in the local sorting office given a stiff talking to down at the local nick. After that, I would issue each one of them a P45 and be done with the scum.

Then I would see my doctor and make sure I was declared unfit to work for the next few years and Sue for Compensation.

what a grumpy git - just sing the victor meldrew song at him next time love!
  • My postman leaves parcels outside our door too. Personally, I don't mind as it saves me a trip to the Sorting Office! They always leave a card though to say where they've left it.

He also makes throw-away remarks about all the parcels, but I know he's just making small talk, and you can tell he doesn't really mean it. Think you've taken it the wrong way, OP.

I'm lucky, I think my PF delivery guy fancies me he always got a big grin on his face when I open the door to him and I've never had a parcel go missing :D
