What right does my postman have to say this :(

My postman just effectively had a go at me for having too many parcels...
He said 'You like your parcels don't you'
and I said 'well, it's easier to do my christmas shopping this way as I don't have a car'
and he said 'yeah I've heard it all before'!!!!
WHAT?!
He has before tried to shirk his work saying he's going to leave recorded delivery parcels on my doorstep (not a 'would you mind if I did this?' just telling me it's going to happen which I am very unhappy about, basically I have to make sure I order everything special delivery now)
I am so mad
If you don't like your job, do something about it... but under NO circumstances do you let a CUSTOMER know that (maybe I am over sensitive being that I work in a complaints department?)
If I report this 1) will anyone care? and 2) will he be told it's me?

i dont anyone will care it sounds to me he was making aparting comment you got defensive and snapped backReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I wouldnt go reporting him.
That would be just wrong and i suspect that when he was pulled up about it,he wouldnt understand what the problem is.
He is probably just trying to make small talk (badly) and being a cheeky chappie.
Just try not to have face to face contact with him in future and keep it professional,no chat, take parcel/sign whatever.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Perhaps hes just trying to have a bit of banter and winding you up and your taking it all serious? I dont understand why he would leave parcels, any that are failed delivery for me I have to go and collect myself!
Think your being a tad sensitive. As to your questions I think the answers would be 1)No 2)No(but would probably guess):staradmin5k - 00:27:46:staradmin 10k - 00:57.03:staradminHalf - 02:01:15:staradmin5M - 00:44:07:staradmin0 -

I don't tend to get involved in direct confrontation, I'm more of an accept now, complain later type unfortunately. Sometimes I think life would be easier if it was the other way round!!Kavanne

I mean, I personally order things recorded for a reason and, if anything, he should have asked me if it was OKKavanne

I don't agree with what he said but he could have just been having a bad day as we all do. Perhaps next time he comes with parcels say something like 'Thank you for bringing me all these parcels, I do appreciate it' and maybe offer him a mince pie or something? That might shut him up lol.£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit

I would only complain if you find your items being left without a signature. Perhaps he was just having a bad day but I agree he didnt come across very nicely.0

Ive has that sort of thing at the post office when I have posted a couple of parcels
"this is not a good time to post these you know as the pensioners come in at this time to get their pension"
Sorry but I thought I was a customer just like anyone else and be able to use the post office anytime it says open. Also thought I would be able to well, post things.0
