Snaggs - Hope you're ok x

Had a naff nights sleep, DH kept sneezing which when you've got 3 slipped discs in your neck is a tad painfull so he was in agony bless him...think we managed about 4 hours sleep in all......I see a nap coming on later.

Need to do ironing and more washing today and have a pootle round tidying things up then going to make a chicken satay for tea...yums.

SRM, is the airport far out from the city centre? I'll be getting either the train or national express to Livepool, then the shuttle bus out, I'm just not sure how long that'll take, I was going to allow about an hour to get from the city centre out to the airport, including waiting up to 15 mins for the shuttle.

No,it's about 25mins by car,of course it depends on time of day..rush hour would take about 45mins..it's about 5 miles or so from city centre.Taxi about 10quid I think ... my parents still live about 3 miles from there....I used to work in ATC there, the old control tower is now the honeymoon suite of the Marriott...

Toto-thanks for asking, the chemo is keeping her going, she was adamant she wouldn't have it, till her Onc told her forcefully (in Nov) that she wouldn't see Xmas unless she took it....so shes hanging on,although there's not a pick on her....

Feeling really crap-sinuses killing-feel like head can explode.

Snags-I love you dear friend and it hurts me to see you hurting so much. I don't have any answers but please know that I am thinking of you. I truly wish I lived cloer to all my wonderful friends so I could go round and dispense hugs and support.



Ok all you foodies-I want to make a purple cabbage dish as seen on GMTV but it calls for apple cider vinegar. I haven't got any! Any suggestions????

Its cos I am doing all my Christmas things this weekend (work do, friends party, dinner with best mates) and then when I break up I am going into hiding!! so it sort of felt like you lot should be there too!

GOd I am hungover.
