I'm good snags, how are you and the kids? Any Mr sunday updates i've missed?

All good thanks - sorry to hear about the money situation - what a complete nightmare.

You did miss a slightly eventful weekend last weekend - I went on a date and the guy was a bit weird....and I ran out on him when he went to the loo. :o

Came home and was talking to Mr Sunday online - ended up telling him what had happened (don't see any reason to hide it from him, as I am only going on dates because that's what he wants...). We talked for a couple of hours, and then he said he was off to bed, and would I be able to sleep - I said probably not but would read. Then he said, 'If you don't want to be alone, you are welcome to come over'. Thought he was joking so we had a bit of banter about it, and then he said, 'Get your coat on then'. So I went over, got there at 1.30am, and stayed till Saturday lunch.

Then met up with him again (with both lots of kids) on Sunday and went for a long walk and to feed the ducks, and the kids had tea at his house.

Was a lovely weekend, but inevitably we have barely spoken this week. Saw him briefly yesterday to drop his birthday present off, and he was fine - lots of hugs and he made a point of chatting to the kids, but it was literally 10 minutes, because he had just nipped out from work, and I had to rush home to get the kids ready for Stu picking them up.

Think things are generally going downhill at the moment, but that's mainly me being frustrated with the situation. :o

I really must try to pop in more often :rotfl:

I really don't know what to make of him, he knows how you feel and he knows that you want more than he seems prepared to give. He's either really cruel and selfish or he's the most confused man I've ever heard of.

Not without taking them to court pap, the problem is that will be hugely expensive seeing as they are in the US. It's such a long story, but basically they have folded one branch of the organisation, so technically the people who should be paying are bankrupt, only the umbrella company is massive, so it's just an exercise in ripping people off.

I'm bored with people going bankrupt on me now, we had to sell everything we owned (our own business included) because we had 2 companies go bankrupt owing us close to 200k, now we've got record companies doing it to us personally. It gets old after a while

    Oh well, another lesson learned.

    How are you anyway?

Don't think he is cruel, but selfish and confused definitely.

He was lovely on Friday night though, just hugged me all night, didn't try anything on (not until Saturday anyway ;)), we just had a really nice whispered conversation for an hour or so, then fell asleep curled up together. Find it hard to understand how he can so obviously care about me (and evidently fancy me, based on Saturday morning - it was definitely not a cursory sympathy sh*g or an unenthusiatic quickie!), but be willing to let me go without a fight.

Don't know what to say about the company going bankrupt, it just seems like such a con and you must be furious, but I really admire how you are dealing with it.

  • Toto, what a pain. Such a shame for Fran to do all that work and get no reward. I hope they get treated the same by someone else... Will that mean you will no longer work for them and therfore lose a chance of some income?

I am fine, just plodding on as you do. Cant wait untill the new year now though, I have had enough of 2009 :rotfl:

Speak to you all tomorrow, off to bed before I fall asleep on the pc :)

We or rather he (must remember I am supposed to be retired from the industry now) won't work for them again, it's a shame because the band are all personal friends and are real sweethearts, it's their management who suck royally.

Honey I just don't know what to say, which is most unlike me :D This one has me really stumped.

I guess the question is how long can you go on like this? It must be driving you insane, he takes mixed messages to olympic standards, doesn't he.

Think the truthful answer is 'not much longer'.

I have felt really quite angry tonight, and had he not sent a couple of brief messages and then signed off, I think strong words may have been exchanged.

On Monday, we have been 'friends' for 6 months, and I think that is long enough for anyone to be patient.

The good thing is that you are still 'out there' looking for something a bit less complicated. Going on dates is a good thing, ok, some of them may be grim (I must look through last weekend's chat thread :) ) but one day someone will come along who makes you think 'what did I see in him?'

No doubt that will be the day Mr sunday suddenly declares eternal undying love.
