  • If your IE is not working, it may be that you are using IE6 and need to upgrade

    On version 8.0.something.

Who do you have to ditch anything??

Just put them all on and decide which you like best for whatever it is you are doing??

I use IE most of the time but FF with Property Bee add on.

But I will try them all out - I have the time and will enjoy taking a look.

FIREFOX with the NOSCRIPT plugin is a far safer way to browse than using IE or CHROME etc

Until Mozilla shift Firefox to use the lowest integrity levels in Windows like Internet Explorer and Chrome do it can't be considered as safe, let alone safer, with or without Noscript.

It might be worth mentioning that NoScript breaks websites so that people dont think firefox is broken.

Also have you checked that the reason IE isn't working properly isnt down to an underlying infection?

    Anyway a few more suggestions:

I'm useing Firefox 3.6 Beta 4 at the moment, apart from most of my add-ons not working it's ok so far.

    To add,
I had customised FFox using the 'Persona' which you can add to the browser, now I found that slowed my browser down after a while.
Since reverting to themed skins which you download & set,it's working better.

I think we're going to seriously disagree on that one

I use chrome for some sites, but most of the time, I use firefox. Adblock and noscript make FF such a joy to use. I load some sites through chrome and they look completely different with so many adverts dotted about.

Thanks and yes tried all I can think of. I think I read too much that IE is flawed and FF is better. Perhaps I have been brainwashed?

The newer versions of firefox are quite bloated and resource hungry. Personally I would recommend chrome or opera both are much faster and lighter on resources.
