Just spoke to them now and they are waiting for stock, should get more in on 28th December. Not a problem for me as wanted it for next Christmas but anyone wanting for this Christmas may be unlucky I'm afraid.

I got letter through the post today from them to say that on this occasion they have been unable to secure authorisation from the card issuer against the item (blanket) so they are unable to despatch this item. They also added if I wish to re-order to phone their order line.

I have never had a problem with my card on any sites, just wondering if anyone else has had this letter?

Thank you, ordered blanket this morning and received confirmation email went through Quidco, expect I will get a letter saying not in stock until 28th, but am happy to wait till after Christmas for delivery.

I ordered mine on the 11th Dec and still not received it. I got a confirmation email to say my order had been processed but i've heard nothing since. I know it's only a couple of quid but some communication from them would have been nice. You can't check your account unless you have ordered from them before and have an account number.

I just don't understand why it has took so long, other companies get it right so why can't Redoute. Ok rant over

I ordered mine on the 11th aswell and received an email two days ago saying they are out of stock and will send the order on the 28th.

Oh well. i will put them away for Xmas 2010!!

I got an email today saying they are processing the payment now, 12 days after I ordered. So any chance of getting the Cardi for my sister in time for Christmas is lost. Luckily I wanted to cancel it anyway, but am not happy with the way La Redoute handle business overall, so will remember this and never use them again.

I to got the same letter, and like you Iv'e never had a problem with my debit card. I wont bother to re-order now and will give this company a miss in future.

I got the email, no date, just saying it woud be dispatched when they received more stock

I almost ordered the blanket but then I remembered ordering some baby clothes about 13 years ago and they took months to arrive.
Seems they haven't improved much then!

I have ordered in the past with no problems with codes,vouchers,etc even managed to order a £25 top for only £5 with a code and never any problems with orders or with card being accepted,etc wonder if they have problems with just this particular order? Or if something else is wrong their end?
