I have the book that came with the Scrimpers series (more of a booklet really)
In the 'further information' section they mention the ' Penny Pincher News' these were newsletters put together by the 'old' couple mentioned earlier, John and Irma Musto, I signed up for these and then bought the compilation book that came out later.
The Tightwad Gazette newsletters were mentioned too, I signed up for those as well and had them all sent over from the USA every month.
Then they recommended the Cheapskate Monthly books by Mary Hunt, I bought those too - and to think I wonder why I've no money? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I borrow the penny pinchers' book from the library pretty regularly, but I think the Tightwad Gazette is better even though it is so American.
